The Book of the American Indian by Garland, Hamlin

This is a first edition copy of The Book of the American Indian by Hamlin Garland containing illustrations by Frederic Remington. The book is in near fine condition and appears to barely have been used, and the dust jacket, protected by a mylar cover, is in similarly near fine condition. This listing also includes the original publishers box it came in. Though the bottom shell is in very good condition, the top half of the box has considerable damage around the edges. The book is signed on the front end page by George Herboth (presumably a former owner).
